Abstract
Skiing is leading to a risk of injuries. Beginners have higher risk of injuries. The authors report an uncommon case of an amateur alpine skiing, who sustained mid-diaphyseal tibial fracture in association with an ipsilateral talus fracture. After intramedullary nailing of closed tibial shaft fracture and screw fixation of the talus fracture, at review after 6 months, he has returned to full function with no complications.
