Abstract

In this work, a new mathematical model of heat conduction for an isotropic generalized thermoelasticity with a three-phase lag is derived using the methodology of fractional calculus. Some theorems of generalized thermoelasticity follow as limited cases. This model is applied to thermoelastic interaction due to periodically varying heat source. Some comparisons are shown in the figures to estimate the effects of the fractional order parameter on all the studied fields.
