Abstract

The teaching case ‘Fountainhead School: The Training Dilemma’ is a primary data case about a reputed school called Fountainhead based out of Surat offering the International Baccalaureate programme for all students from kindergarten to grade 12. The case is based on the problem of teacher turnover and goes on to touch upon various issues pertaining to human resource management. The case has a strategic focus on outcome-based human resource models. It will be useful for teaching undergraduate and graduate students of management, human resource and other social science disciplines.
