Abstract

This article presents results derived from the research on the development of reading comprehension and written production, as necessary skills in the integral formation of students, not only in the area of ​​language, but in all their communicative and intellectual work, in favor of a significant learning. The purpose is to generate processes to strengthen a pedagogical practice that promotes the development of learning based on research as a pedagogical strategy and the incorporation of advances in information and communication technologies. The research was developed with students from the Agricultural Departmental Institution of Our Lady of Mercy, located in Magdalena, Pivijay, Colombia. Guidelines for the curricular integration of research and information and communication technologies were generated to guide innovations necessary to redefine the strategies adopted by teachers in their pedagogical work.
