Abstract

A 33-year-old woman with a long history of chronic plaque psoriasis attended a dermatology follow-up clinic. She had a past medical history of depression and self-harm, and was taking sertraline. Her treatment history included narrowband ultraviolet B phototherapy, ciclosporin and methotrexate. She was currently on topical therapy only. On assessment in clinic, the psoriasis was poorly controlled. We discuss which suitable systemic treatment option to try next.
