Abstract. Earthworm ( Lumbricus rubellus ) was found have the contents of extremely high protein and therapeutic or preventive merits for improvement of immune system. This study is aimed at making earthworm extract into microemulsion. Extraction use 2 methods: stewed water (polar phase) and reflux in n-hexane solvent (nonpolar phase). The base of microemulsion is using VCO (5%), tween 80 (35%) for oil phase, and combination of glycerin cosurfactant (10%) and sorbitol (20%) for water phase. This formulation is stable for 28 days based on organoleptic, centrifugation, freeze thaw, and stability tests accelerated by extract concentrations (0.5; 1; 1.5; 2%; polar phase and nonpolar phase extracts ratio is 1:1). Abstrak. Cacing tanah ( Lumbricus rubellus ) telah diketahui mengandung protein yang sangat tinggi dengan khasiat terapetik maupun preventif seperti meningkatkan sistem imun. Penelitian ini bertujuan membuat ekstrak cacing tanah menjadi mikroemulsi. Ekstraksi menggunakan 2 metode yaitu metode rebusan air (fase polar) dan refluks dengan pelarut n-heksan (fase non polar). Basis mikroemulsi menggunakan VCO (5%), tween 80 (35%) sebagai fase minyak, dan kosurfaktan kombinasi gliserin (10%) dengan sorbitol (20%) untuk fase air. Formulasi ini stabil selama 28 hari berdasarkan uji organoleptik, sentrifugasi, freeze thaw , dan uji stabilitas dipercepat dengan konsentrasi ekstrak (0,5 ;1 ;1,5 ;2% ; perbandingan ekstrak fase polar dengan fase non polar yaitu 1:1).
