The research was developed using a bibliographic analysis in order to obtain informationon the ecosystem services that the protected area can provide and to learn about the environmental conflictspresent. The result was the formulation of a strategy of payments for environmental services, which emergesas an alternative to reduce socio-environmental problems and ensure the supply of resources through directcontributions, oriented to owners and/or users located within the park, promoting efficient and environmentallyfriendly economic development. The steps and actions necessary for the implementation of the strategy wereaddressed, supported by the Colombian regulatory framework. It was concluded that it is necessary to provideassistance to communities in the formulation of proposals that minimize bad practices that affect ecosystems andstrengthen global warming; it is also necessary to analyze the results of projects being developed in the area toknow the real impact on the environment.
