Abstract
In this paper, we investigate hypersurfaces with the vanishing ( r + 1 ) th mean curvature in space forms, which are called r -minimal. We give some characteristics of r -minimal hypersurfaces in space forms. In addition, we study r -minimal hypersurfaces with two distinct principal curvatures in space forms.
