Abstract

The problem of effective electromechanic transients damping and power system stability may be solved by using automatic voltage regulators (AVR). Novel microprocessor AVR sometimes use well-known algorithms, which were designed for analog regulators. This paper continues the study of presented before algorithms based on Bellman derivative equation. Some simplifications of the proposed excitation control algorithms are presented. Topology-based correction of algorithms is mentioned.
