Abstract

Abstract. — Often the Isère valley in the zone of Grenoble has been given as a typical glacial landforms country. But we can see that they are not predominant. Various and numerous non actual periglacial landforms have a large place. The recent geomorphological evolution and the limited actual phenomena of erosion are described and explained. The different phases of the geomorphological evolution (from 65.000 B.P. up to day) are summarized in a tabel (in fine).
