Abstract
The need to assess the competitiveness of the land reclamation industry is related not only to its role in intensifying the results of agricultural activity in the country, but also to ensuring the sustainability of crops in various climatic zones of Russia. The study identifies and reveals the leading factors of the competitiveness of land reclamation; substantiates the content of the modern strategy for the development of the land reclamation industry; introduces a distinction between industry competitiveness into current and prospective, which allowed us to subdivide the importance of the components of the competitiveness of the industry; a scheme for positioning the competitiveness of land reclamation in the system of the agro-industrial complex of the Russian Federation (hereinafter referred to as the agro-industrial complex of the Russian Federation) has been developed, which allows us to highlight the features of assessing the industry in the overall competitiveness of agriculture. As a result of the analysis of regulatory legal acts of various levels of the Russian Federation that influence the formation of a competitive environment in the agricultural sector and land reclamation, a systematic mechanism for regulatory and legal support for the competitiveness of the reclamation industry of the agro-industrial complex of the Russian Federation has been developed, providing an opportunity to describe and solve the problems of forming the competitiveness of industry organizations. One of the leading conclusions of the study was the conclusion that it is necessary to assess the integral indicator of the competitiveness of the reclamation industry in the regions of the Russian Federation on the basis of reasonable groups of private indicators.
