Abstract

The article reveals the topic of activation of physical self-development of higher school students in the practice of physical education. The authors propose to form a process of physical self-development of students, which will be able to provide sustainable motivation for healthy life activity of the younger generation. The priority direction of this work is to determine the features of students’ self-development, which ensures a high level of physical activity. It is noted that physical culture is aimed not only at the formation of physical abilities and physical fitness, but also at the educational process, professional activity and self-improvement of students.
