Abstract

This article examines the problem of developing sociocultural competence in Russian lessons as a second language. The content of the concept of “sociocultural competence” is determined, and the features of its formation in the process of teaching Russian as a second language are identified. The article provides the requirements of the Subject Standard for the Russian language in schools with Kyrgyz, Uzbek and Tajik languages ​​of instruction for the development of sociocultural competence of students. As an example, it is proposed to develop a lesson for the 8th grade of a school with the Kyrgyz language of instruction on the topic “In the world of legends. Homogeneous parts of the sentence”.
