Abstract

The formation of science concepts is shaped from birth. Some concepts are formed at pre-school age as preconceptions. These preconceptions fundamentally affect continuous education, which is why the formation of these concepts is an important educational objective for pre-school education in families and kindergartens. Simple experiments implemented into playing and games have an important role in the formation of science concepts. The study presents the research results of the development of appropriate educational methods. Design-based research was used. Specific examples of simple experiments implemented into playing and games, which can help to form concepts in pre-school science education, are presented.
