Abstract

The article considers a problem of updating evaluation of school results meanings conjugated with such challenges of the time like information steam expansion and the phenomenon of visualisation. Increasing of range and diversity of assessed pupils' achievements require formation of new universal skills to clear and efficiently show their academic performance by using visualisation tools. That is the aim of this research. The results were obtained from pedagogic observations, polls and questioning pupils and teachers, researching of design and research works of pupils in forms 8 to 11. The complex solution unifying of groups of researching issues – by improving education environment at school, increasing value of using visualisation component at education and education processes enrichment were presented. Analysis shows increase in pupils’ motivation to self-creation when using a visual form of their results representing with understanding recipients’ requirements, with observance of the ethical and aesthetic norms. Common activisation of pupils’ cognitive activities with using visual forms of information presentation takes place. At the same time, results show that pedagogic tools for the formation of universal skills in pupils' visual presentation of educational results should provide a system of psychological, methodological, technological support, that should be organically included in the school structure; thus, there is a reason for development of the selected areas.
