Abstract

The article of experimental orientation characterizes possible forms and methods of increasing motivation to form readiness for the managerial activity of future officers. It is determined that in modern conditions of reforming higher education, transformational changes in the system of officer training in law enforcement agencies it is necessary to ensure the modernization of professional training of cadets in order to form readiness for management, management culture, managerial competence, which allows them to perform professional duties in the future profession. Based on the application of the method of pedagogical experiment, the potential of efficient forms and methods of increasing motivation to form this quality is demonstrated, which is confirmed by the use of statistical data that showed positive dynamics of increasing motivation to set up this quality. It was found out that the whole-motivational stage was aimed at forming motivation for management activities, value orientations, and focus of cadets on an in-depth acquisition of knowledge and skills that ensure the effectiveness of this activity (value-reflexive criterion).At this stage, a number of methodological, scientific, and methodological seminars were held for teachers of professional disciplines, aimed at mastering the functions of a tutor. The content of professional subjects ("Tactical training of troops", "The Ukrainian language" (for professional purposes)) "History of troops and military art") was supplemented by modules on the specifics of management, the psychology of management, theory, and practice of this activity. The key forms of education were binary lectures, lectures-discussions, conversations, concluding a thesaurus, intensification of independent and research work within the scientific circle, involvement in project activities. Among the educational activities aimed at increasing motivation for management, video lectures (viewing documentaries and feature films with further discussion), meetings with servicemen, combatants, commanders-managers, visits to museums prevailed.
