Abstract
Introduction. The process of forming professional and value orientations of students is influenced by the following factors: the influence of the international professional community, features of Internet socialization (virtual environment, new forms of interaction), and the student’s personal qualities. These factors also influence the modern labor market, which is becoming increasingly global and digital, requiring specialists to possess not only professional skills, but also intercultural communication skills, working in international teams, using digital tools and adapting to rapidly changing technologies. The relevance of the study is due to the need to transform the system of practice-oriented education, prepare students for a successful career in a changing world of professions, develop in them the necessary skills, abilities and competencies for successful professional socialization and competitiveness in the labor market. The purpose of the study is to design and test for effectiveness a model for the formation of professional value orientations of student youth in the conditions of Internet socialization in the process of passing various types of practices. Materials and methods. The material of the study was the data of a survey of 62 students of the Tambov State University named after G.R. Derzhavin and Moscow State University of Technology and Management named after K.G. Razumovsky (First Cossack University). The Mann-Whitney U test and Wilcoxon sign rank test were used to statistically test the significance of the results. Results. It was revealed that in the experimental group, students demonstrated a significant increase in the level of formation of professional and value orientations in the conditions of Internet socialization (U = 343,5; p < 0,05). Discussion and Conclusion. The study showed that professional-oriented Internet platforms are advisable to use in various aspects of the educational process, including passing educational, production, prediploma practices.
