Abstract

The methods of effect of the as-delivered condition and heat treatment modes on the structure and mechanical properties of the 30KhGSN2A steel are studied. The effect of cooling conditions during quenching and repeated heat treatment modes on the stability of the achieved level of properties and their compliance with the requirements of regulatory documents are studied. The recommendations for regulating the stay time of products in the hardening tank and the modes of repeated heat treatment are given, which are signifi cantly reduce the number of the products that don't meet the required level of the mechanical properties.
