Abstract

The author of the paper deals with the concept of teaching a foreign language with integrated cultural element. She derives her knowledge from the model of communicative competence and the latest model of intercultural communicative competence. On the basis of professional publications in the given area the author defines the goals of foreign language teaching and tries to specify the content of teaching which should be focused on support and development of students´ communicative competence. Speaking about the integration of cultural content into foreign language teaching we also have to deal with the form of such integration. DOI: 10.5901/mjss.2016.v7n1s1p299
