Abstract

This article does not focus on the biography or scientific achievements of Maria Grzegorzewska. Rather, it concerns her relationships with Warsaw and shows a short history as well as architectural values of the places where she functioned as a schoolgirl, student and director of PIPS, with particular emphasis on her attitude towards the proposal to leave Warsaw, demolished during the occupation, and actions to improve the university's premises.
