Abstract

The double-folding model potential with effective nucleon-nucleon interactions based on a G-matrix, constructed from the Reid potential and densities that are consistent with electron scattering, are used to generate angular distributions for 4He particles scattered by 6Li at several bombarding energies between 3.0 and 50.5 MeV. The pseudo-potential is introduced to account for nucleon exchange. No special property is required to explain the large-angle behaviour other than the deuteron exchange in the overlapping region between the incident particals and target nuclei.
