Abstract

Michelin tire baby syndrome is characterized by excessive folds of skin associated with an underlying nevus lipomatosus. We describe an otherwise healthy female infant with distinctive cutaneous folds who also has marked scarring. Analysis of adipose tissue fatty acids and serum lipids and lipoproteins revealed only minor deviations from normal.
