Abstract

Critical current densities (Jc) and the irreversibility lines (ILs) of 7 melt-textured samples with different oxygen content (27.4 K < Tc < 92.4 K) were investigated. The values of Jcab decrease systematically with increasing oxygen deficiency. All the ILs shift to lower fields and temperatures with decreasing oxygen content. A crossover in the slope of log(Hirr) versus log(1 − Tirr/Tc) as well as pronounced changes in the shape and anisotropy of the ILs were observed.
