Abstract

the fluorescence lifetimes and quantum yields have been measured at 298 and 77 K for dilute solutions of styrene and three deuterated isomers. The radiative rate constant is found to be temperatured and isotope idependent. The non-radiative rate constant is isotope insensitive and decreases by about fifty percent on cooling.
