Abstract

Fluidized roasting is an effective way to deal with refractory iron ores. Fluidization is a prerequisite for the effective occurrence of physical and chemical reactions. This article conducts cold state experiments on Single-layer Overflow type Reaction Chamber, using hematite ore and quartz as bulk particles, processing pressure drop signals to analyze and explain gas-solid motion. The results indicate that the gas flow average pressure drop being stable is the criterion for the fluidized bed, the bulk properties significantly affect the critical fluidization characteristics. Pressure drop pulsation is an important characteristic of fluidized bed, fluidized gas velocity, initial bed height, and bulk properties all affect the amplitude of bed pressure drop pulsation, and the spectrum analyses of bed pressure drop signals all exhibit “High-energy and Low-frequency”. This study has certain guiding significance for the structural design optimization and engineering scaling of Downstream Hydrogen Mineral Phase Transformation Equipment.
