Abstract

This study investigates the flows of fluids whose material parameters depend analytically on the pressure and temperature at small Reynolds and Froude numbers. Two different approximations are found and the effects of variable viscosity on laminar flows in a horizontal channel are studied both in the absence and in the presence of frictional heating.
