Abstract

Abstract A simple flow injection analysis method is described for the determination of soluble sulphide, based on the complexation of sulphide with p-hydroxymercurbenzoic acid, in the presence of dithizone used as an indicator. The reaction is very rapid, with a sampling rate of 90/hr. and requires a very short length post injection reaction coil. The detection limit and precision are 0.01 mM and 0.7%, respectively.
