Abstract
The three-dimensional incompressible laminar boundary layer past a flat plate is investigated, when suction with a slightly sinusoidal transverse suction velocity distribution at the wall is applied. For the asymptotic flow conditions far downstream the components of the wall shear stress and the heat transfer including its dependence on Prandtl number are determined.
