Olmsted consults, develops programs, and edits Work Times, the only national newsletter focused on flexibility. Her most recent book, Creating a Flexible Workplace, coauthored with her partner Suzanne Smith, won the Society for Human Resources Management award for the best book of 1990 and was revised in 1994.
