Abstract
In order to solve the problem of non-expectancy life fracture of the flexible shaft of oil drilling, the force of the flexible shaft is analyzed and calculated, and the static load strength of the flexible shaft and the fatigue strength of torque and bending moment all meet the safety factor requirements, and the fracture flexible shaft is further analyzed for the fracture shaft of metal materials, and it is found that it is fatigue fracture, and there is corrosion at the fracture, in order to determine the effect of corrosion on fatigue fracture, fatigue tests were carried out on corroded specimens and uncorroded specimens, and it is found that the life of the corroded specimens is reduced by 30% compared with the non-corroded specimens. According to the fatigue test conclusion, the deformation zone of the flexible shaft was anti-corrosion treatment, and the service life was found to be improved after on-site trial, which effectively solved the problem of non-expected life fracture of the flexible shaft.
