Abstract

By comparing difference battery management system (BMS), it comes to the conclusion that different BMS only has difference in communication data handle method and interface. To save the BMS design time, reduce the designer development workload, lead the BMS production satisfied market requirement quickly, this paper proposed flexible BMS design method. In the hardware design, this paper suggests module design method, the designer can finish a new BMS only by modify the interface module. In the software design, this paper proposes the hierarchical and embedded real-time operating system methods, the developer can achieve a new BMS by change the corresponding layered file separately. The flexible BMS design method mentioned in this paper can accelerates the process of the BMS design, shortens the production development cycle, and satisfies the market requirement speedily.
