Abstract
At the Collaborative Action Research Network International Conference in Cambridge, I delivered a paper on ‘Seeking ethical review for action research (AR): consideration of the ethical dilemmas and strategies to successfully navigate the ethical review process’. Although many who use AR have embraced the need for ethical review, a significant number still consider any contact with research ethics committees (RECs) an unnecessary burden.
