Abstract

In the Central Institute for Cancer Research in Berlin-Buch (GDR) patients have been treated with fast neutrons since April 1972. The neutrons produced by a Soviet cyclotron have a mean energy of 6.2 MeV with a dose rate of 20 rad/min at a distance of 1 m.
