Abstract

In this issue, Häberlein etal. demonstrate a role for GPR17 in regulating zebrafish oligodendrocyte differentiation. Zebrafish expressing a humanized GPR17 respond to modulators, which are inactive against the endogenous zebrafish receptor. These findings highlight the potential for humanized zebrafish as an invivo platform for targeted remyelination drug screens.
