Abstract Firth-Vickers FV.520 is a chromium-nickel stainless steel that can be hardened by a low temperature heat treatment or supplied in a heat-treated, tough, but machinable condition with a tensile strength of 140,000 psi. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness, creep, and fatigue. It also includes information on low and high temperature performance, and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: SS-84.
