Abstract

AbstractIn 2017 and 2018, from June to October, unusual damage was observed on Japanese sago palm (Cycas revoluta) (Cycadaceae), in several towns in Tunisia: Ariana (Ariana governorate), Tunis (Tunis governorate), and Akouda and Chott Mariem (Sousse Governorate). Leaf samples were collected and brought to the laboratory for observation. Morphological identification confirmed the presence of Aulacaspis rosae (Diaspididae). This is the first record of A. rosae in Tunisia.
