Abstract
The presence of the shortfin mako Isurus oxyrinchus is registered. Caught by artisanal fishermen using a longline shark fishing, off the coast of the municipality of Manure, in the Media Guajira. This is the first record of the species in the area and extends his geographic distribution in the Colombian Caribbean Sea.
