Abstract

We present the results of our investigation and first analysis of the geometrical and physical parameters of the 1SWASP J15133589-3725239 and 1SWASP J22310605-1940584 W UMa-type binary systems. Light curve analysis was performed with the PHOEBE0.31a interface program based on the Wilson-Devinney code. New times of minima and light elements have been determined. According to our solution, the 1SWASP J15133589-3725239 and 1SWASP J22310605-1940584 binary systems are respectively found to be A- and W-type W UMa systems. We derived the following masses and radii for the components of these eclipsing systems: M1=2.578 M⊙, M2=1.741 M⊙, R1=1.113 R⊙ and R2=0.928 R⊙ for 1SWASP J15133589-3725239 and M1=0.743 M⊙, M2=0.469 M⊙, R1=0.715 R⊙ and R2=0.578 R⊙ for 1SWASP J22310605-1940584. The evolutionary state of the systems is also discussed.
