Abstract
ABSTRACT First Person is a series of interviews with the first authors of a selection of papers published in Disease Models & Mechanisms, helping researchers promote themselves alongside their papers. Tara Gleeson is first author on ‘ The NLRP3 inflammasome is essential for IL-18 production in a murine model of macrophage activation syndrome’, published in DMM. Tara is a PhD Student in the lab of Dr Jack Green at the Division of Neuroscience, University of Manchester, Manchester, UK, investigating inflammasome biology.
