Abstract
ABSTRACT First Person is a series of interviews with the first authors of a selection of papers published in Journal of Cell Science, helping researchers promote themselves alongside their papers. Kolaparamba V. Navyasree is first author on ‘ Cholesterol regulates insulin-induced mTORC1 signaling’, published in JCS. Kolaparamba is a PhD student in the lab of Perunthottathu K. Umasankar at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB), Trivandrum, Kerala, India, where she explores the intricate mechanisms of cell signaling pathways to unravel their role in cellular function and potential diseases.
