Abstract

This chapter extends the discussion of the links between elite football and education in elite boarding schools. It is narrated by a young man who reflects on his secondary education through the lens of the Capabilities approach. For this participant, the most evident legacy of his education is an understanding of how the world works, and how to use his voice in it.
