Abstract
Detections of the SO2 7(7.1) to 6(6.0) and CH3OH 13(1) to 12(0) lines near 800 GHz in the Orion core region, along with a third unidentified line near 800 GHz with a rest frequency of 809,583 + or - 5 MHz, are reported. The results support the modeling of the SO2 emission as an optically-thick beam-diluted source. The line/continuum flux ratio in the Orion core has been estimated to be 30-40 percent for the 350-micron atmospheric window. 15 refs.
