Abstract

The author made an insightful study of defects incurred by aarchitectural design errors in the gates, gallery, stairs of high-rise ward buildings in existing hospitals. The study revealed the risk exposure for firefighting, rescue and personnel evacuation, and referred to experiences from overseas for remedies and precautions to take in advance.
