Abstract

The finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method was proposed for the solution of Maxwell's equations, various absorbing boundary conditions have been developed to simulate the infinite large space with a finite computation domain. In this paper, we applied the FDTD method with conformal meshes to the scattering analysis of conducting cylinders. An absorbing boundary condition (ABC) corresponding to the conformal mesh is presented. Numerical results verified the validity of this technique.
