Finite projective planes of order n with a 2 -transitive orbit of length n/2 - 1

Abstract

The finite projective planes \({\prod}\) of order n with a collineation group G acting 2- transitively on a point subset \({{\mathcal{O}}}\) of \({\prod}\) of size n/2 - 1 are essentially classified.
