Abstract

The finite element simulation of the shear wall model with end column and end column with high strength steel bar was carried out under low cyclic reversed loading test. Taking the strength of longitudinal steel bar and stirrup as the main parameters, the shear wall models under four working conditions were established, which were end column with ordinary steel bar, end column with high strength stirrup and ordinary longitudinal steel bar, end column with high strength longitudinal steel bar and ordinary stirrup, and end column with high strength stirrup and high strength longitudinal steel bar. The finite element software ABAQUS was used to simulate the loading of each shear wall model, and the seismic performance indexes such as hysteresis curve, skeleton curve, stiffness degradation curve, ductility coefficient and energy dissipation capacity were extracted and analyzed. The results show that when the longitudinal steel bar of the end column is configured with high-strength steel bar; the seismic bearing capacity increases significantly, but the ductility decreases.
