Abstract

This article studies the application of the Stochastic Finite Element Method (SFEM) to analyze beveled frames with semi-rigid connections subjected to wind loads when the connection and load parameters are random quantities. The structural behavior analysis algorithm is a combination of the SFEM method and Monte-Carlo simulation. The calculation program was then used to evaluate the reliability of the semi-rigidly connected beveled steel frame subjected to wind loads.
