Abstract

Recently, textile reinforced concrete has been increasingly used in the production of precast thin wall facade. This type of material has advantages such as lightweight and corrosion resistance. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the flexural behavior of thin wall panels using textile reinforced concrete through experimental and numerical simulation methods. The experimental study was conducted to determine the load capacity, stiffness, and failure mode of the wall panels. The numerical simulation study showed similar results to the experimental study. Therefore, the results demonstrate the potential of numerical simulation methods in the design of thin wall panels using textile reinforced concrete.
