Abstract
Elastic constitutive relationships for anisotropic damage mechanics have been developed in this paper. Implementation of these constitutive equations in the finite element analysis is explained. Validation of these relations is provided in the form of comparison of numerical results with the available experimental results. The application of these relationships to an anisotropic damaged foundation problem is discussed.
