Abstract
By means of ion translational energy spectroscopy, single-electron capture (SEC) by ground state and metastable on and CO has been studied at impact energies . For SEC from the main channels involve transitions with the final vibrational state distributions being found in reasonably good agreement with multichannel Landau - Zener calculations.
